Eligibility for End Semester Exam

You must complete at least 75% of all programme activities before you are allowed to appear in the End Semester Examination.
Activities that count toward the 75% requirement
  • Attending live and recorded online classes
  • Submitting all assignments on time via LMS
  • Engaging in interactive and discussion sessions
  • Participating in academic discussions and programme tasks

Supplementary Examinations

Who can appear in supplementary exams?
  • Students who failed (F) in the previous examination
  • Students who were absent (AB) from the End Semester Examination
  • Students holding reports: W SA IA I RC in any previously registered course

Supplementary examinations are held alongside the regular End Semester Examination of the corresponding semester.

Promotion, Course Repetition & Special Exam

You are automatically promoted to the next semester regardless of how many courses are pending. This allows flexible progression through the programme.

  • You can clear pending courses in subsequent exams -- within the maximum programme duration
  • If you miss both CIA and ESE during the minimum programme duration, you must re-register (with the prescribed fee) to continue
  • Failure to re-register may result in discontinuation from the programme
🎯 Special final-semester examination
  • Conducted after the Final Semester Examination, specifically for final-semester students
  • Only for students who are unable to pass a maximum of 4 courses
  • A fee as decided by the university will be charged
  • The degree is awarded only after all components are cleared within the permissible duration
🔁 Course repetition rules
  • Students with W / SA / IA / I / RC must re-register and repeat the course when it is next offered
  • If the course is discontinued (curriculum change), an approved equivalent course of the same credit must be completed
  • Once you earn a pass grade (O through P), you cannot repeat that course

Changing Your Elective Course

  • Change after CIA commences or after the cut-off date
  • Carrying forward credits from the dropped elective
